1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to TradeAnyone ("we," "our," or "us") can be cancelled, when a cancellation takes effect, and what happens to your access, auto-pay mandate, and data afterwards. It applies to both the Monthly plan (₹999 + GST, billed every month) and the Yearly plan (₹9,999 + GST, billed every 12 months), whether purchased through our website, web application, or PC application. Payments and recurring charges are processed through the Razorpay payment gateway. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
2. What cancellation means
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals and future auto-debits. It does not delete your account, and it does not by itself refund any amount already paid — money-back situations are governed exclusively by the Refund Policy. Your subscription is a single entitlement linked to your account: cancelling it once cancels it everywhere (website, web app, and PC app). There are no separate subscriptions per device or per app.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time using either method:
- In the app (recommended): sign in to the web app or PC app and go to Account → Subscription → Cancel subscription. You will see an on-screen confirmation, and a confirmation email is sent to your registered email address.
- By email: write to support@tradeanyone.in from your registered email address with the subject "Cancel subscription", stating your account email and current plan. We will confirm the cancellation by reply, normally within 2 business days.
A cancellation is effective only once you receive our confirmation (on-screen or by email). If you do not receive confirmation, the cancellation has not been recorded — please contact support.
4. Cancellation cut-off before renewal
To guarantee that the next renewal charge does not go through, submit your cancellation at least 24 (twenty-four) hours before your renewal date and time. Your renewal date is shown in Account → Subscription and in your original payment confirmation email.
- Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of the renewal may not stop a charge that is already scheduled or in process with the payment gateway. If such a charge completes, it is a valid charge for the new period; the cancellation will then apply from the end of that new period.
- For subscriptions running on an auto-pay mandate, banks send a pre-debit notification before each charge (see Section 5). Receiving that notification is a good reminder to cancel in time if you do not wish to continue.
- You remain responsible for cancelling before renewal; non-usage of the service is not a cancellation.
5. Auto-pay mandates (UPI Autopay / card e-mandate)
Recurring subscription charges are collected through an auto-pay mandate (for example UPI Autopay, or a card/net-banking e-mandate) registered via Razorpay when you first subscribe. In line with RBI rules for recurring payments:
- Your bank or UPI app sends you a pre-debit notification before each recurring charge.
- When you cancel your subscription with us, we stop future charges under the mandate and the mandate is cancelled for future debits through Razorpay.
- You may additionally revoke the mandate yourself at any time from your UPI app, card issuer, or bank. Note: revoking the mandate at the bank without cancelling with us stops payment collection but does not close the subscription record — please also cancel via Section 3 so your account reflects the correct status and you do not receive dunning (payment-retry) notices.
6. Effect of cancellation
- Access continues to the end of the paid period. You keep full access to all features until the last day of the billing period you have already paid for. Access ends at the end of that period.
- No further charges are made after a confirmed cancellation (other than a charge already in process under Section 4).
- No automatic refund. Cancellation does not create a refund for the current or past billing periods. Refunds are available only in the cases listed in the Refund Policy or where required by law.
- Mid-cycle cancellation is not pro-rated. We do not shorten the paid period or return a proportionate amount for unused days, except where required by law.
- Your account itself remains open (free, without subscription features) unless you separately ask us to delete it.
7. Failed renewal payments
A failed renewal payment is not a cancellation. If a renewal charge fails (for example, insufficient balance, expired card, or mandate declined), we and/or the payment gateway may retry the charge, and your access may be suspended until payment succeeds. If payment continues to fail, the subscription lapses and stops renewing. To avoid retries and notices after a failed payment, cancel formally under Section 3.
8. Plan changes (upgrade / downgrade)
Switching between the Monthly and Yearly plan takes effect from the next billing cycle: your current plan runs to the end of its paid period, and the new plan begins (and is charged) when that period ends. We do not currently convert or pro-rate mid-cycle, except where we expressly offer it or the law requires it. To switch, use Account → Subscription → Change plan or email support.
9. Cancellation by TradeAnyone
We may cancel or suspend a subscription (and the associated auto-pay mandate) if:
- You materially violate our Terms and Conditions — including fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, account sharing or resale, or misuse of the platform;
- A payment is reversed, disputed, or subject to a chargeback and remains unresolved;
- We are required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid order; or
- We discontinue the service or a plan — in which case we will give reasonable advance notice, and any period you have paid for but cannot use because of our discontinuation will be refunded or credited.
Where cancellation results from your breach, no refund is due for the remaining period, except where required by law.
10. Reactivation
You can re-subscribe at any time after cancellation by signing in and choosing a plan again. Re-subscribing creates a new billing cycle and a new auto-pay mandate at the then-current prices. Saved settings (watchlists, layouts, alert configurations) that are still retained under Section 11 become available again on reactivation.
11. Data after cancellation
After your paid period ends, your saved settings and account data are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy so that you can reactivate later. Billing and tax records are retained as required by law. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legally required retention.
12. Cancellation vs refunds
In short: cancellation is about stopping future charges; refunds are about money already paid. This page governs the first; the Refund Policy governs the second. Approved refunds, where applicable, are processed through Razorpay to your original payment method within the timelines stated in the Refund Policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and apply from the date of posting.
